Common Name: Sedge

Carex 'Feather Falls' Japanese Sedge has striking green and white, grassy foliage on large plants with a lovely waterfall form. Carex 'Feather Falls' forms low to medium height tufts of foliage that are effective when used as a ground cover or edger.

Prefers light shade, but will take sun as well as full shade. Likes moist, well-drained soil, but is drought tolerant once established. This evergreen sedge is fantastic for containers as well as in the landscape. While not true grasses, sedges look similar to grasses.
